You'll typically want the 5mg or 10mg vial for initial, but most buyers go with the 50mg if they're doing competitive binding assays, and the solubility issue matters here—DMSO works better than water for reconstitution (give or take 0.2mL per mg), and the fusing point above 182°C suggests decent thermal stability for storage.

Once reconstituted, store it in the fridge at 2-8°C and use within a few days. The freeze-dried powder itself is fine at room temperature in a cool, dry place.
