It runs about 99% purity by HPLC, white powder form, and we’re shippng it in 10mg per vial packs with 10 vials per lot—that gives you 100mg total for a typical early screening batch.
Solubility cuts in at roughly 5 mg/mL in H2O, which is decent for most aqueous buffer systems, but you’ll need to pre-wet the powder if you’re working with cold stocks; we’ve seen some labs just stir it for 2-3 minutes at room temp and it clears right up.
The predicted pKa is 13.00±0.70, so this is a fairly basic molecule—actually more suited for targeted enzyme or receptor assays where high pH tolerance is required, and it’s not ideal for standard cell culture media without careful pH adjustment.
Storage is critical here: < -20°C, sealed, in teh dark, and we usually have stock ready within 20 days or so from order, but the last batch took a bit longer because the powder clumps slightly if the warhouse humidity spikes during monsoon season.
