You're not going to cut heavy-gauge steel with these—they max out at 1.2mm for sheet metal and 0.7mm for stainless, so don't try them on anything thicker than that. But for what they do handle, they're actually pretty solid, forged from 55# high carbon steel with a brushed finish that holds up well over time.
