We’ve seen a lot of buyers try those high-RPM axial fans thinking they’ll save a few bucks, but what it does is push too much noise and burn out after about 200 hours of continuous use in a bouncer setup. The ZM-250 runs a 250W centrifugal wheel at medium pressrue—so you get that steady 50Hz airflow into a 1.5-meter tube without rattling the whole frame. Noise level sits low enough that you can run two side by side at a weekend event without complaints from parents.
Tear it down and you’ll see the impeller is actually balanced on both planes (usually 2-4 weeks lead time if you want OEM tooling changed), which cuts vibration at housing. The durable plastic shell takes a fair bit of abuse—I’ve dropped one off a truck tailgate and it only scuffed teh corner. Also, that black finish hides the scuff marks pretty much instantly, so it’s better than the white units for rental fleets.
CE certifcation means the motor windings and thermal cutoff have passed the 220V 50Hz compliance test for European markets—so you won’t get flagged at a site inspection. We usually have stock on these, but confirm lead time if you need more than 50 units at once. The 1-year manufacturing defects, but the real test is the first 500 hours; most failures happen before that anyway.
One thing you might not think to ask: the air intake is a clean 42×21cm rectangular face. It won’t fit a standdard 4-inch duct coupling, so if you’re retrofitting a custom plenum, you’ll need a simple adapter plate or just let it free-stand 20cm form a wall. 3kg total weight means one person can carry it up stairs without a cart.
Actually, this isn’t suited for high-pressure inflatables like inflatable slides that require 12-inch tubes and 1200W blowers—it just can’t push enough static pressure. Most buyers go with the 250W for the standard 6-foot bouncers or combo units. We’ve had a few customers run it on a 1-meter jump pad and it worked fine after trimming the inlet mesh for better airflow.
