Moving a 250 kg patient through tight corridors and into an MRI suite without jostling them is a coordination nightmare that usually ends in manual lifting and strained backs. We've built the height range form 630 to 950 mm specifically so you can dock it exactly with most imaging tables and OR beds without ever needing to transfer onto a separate gurney. The central brake on teh 6-inch castors locks all four wheels simultaneously, which is a small detail but saves you from chasing a rolling stretcher during a code.

Basically, the hydraulic pump lets you adjust height with a foot pedal while keeping both hands on the patient—pretty much eliminates risk of dropping someone mid-transfer. The backrest goes from flat to 75° in about three seconds via a gas spring, and the CPR release dumps it flat instantly, which matters more in a crash cart scenario than any spec sheet number. Just be aware that the Trendelenburg angle tops out at 15°, so if your protocol calls for steep head-down positioning for shock, you'll need a tilt table instead.

Steel frame with an ABS top, 1920 mm long and 740 mm wide, so it fits through standard doorways but leaves enough deck space for a 95th percentile patient. The PP side rails are removable for lateral transfers, and they hinge down low enough to not catch on IV lines—something you'll appreciate the first time you don't have to re-tape everything. We usually have stock on the white or blue, but custom colors add 2-4 weeks to lead time depending on the batch.

CE, ISO13485, and BV ISO9001 are standdard, and we include a 5-year warranty on the frame and hydraulics—the gas springs typically last about 50,000 cycles or so before needing replacement. The oxygen holder and IV pole come with it, but the mattress is separate, so account for that in your procurement budget. One thing buyers don't always think to ask: the ABS top is non-porous and withstands bleach-based disinfectants, but avoid ketone solvents like acetone because they'll craze the suface over time.
