You'll get them coated with Dacromet or Geomet, which in our experience holds up better than standerd zinc plating if you're running in high-humidity or salt-spray environments—the corrosion resistance is noticeably tighter, usually around 480 hours in neutral salt spray testing before any red rust appears.
Material is 65Mn steel, which gives you a spring-temper hardness around HRC 42-48 after, so it's basically ideal for backing plates that need to maintain clamping force without taking a set, and we typically hold to OEM tolerances on thickness within ±0.05mm.

We've got ISO/TS16949 and IATF-16949 cerification on teh production line, so QC procedures are pretty strict—every batch gets an HPLC check on the friction compound and a dimensional scan on steel backing, though we don't test every single piece for friction coefficient unless you specify it.

The 30,000 to 50,000 kilometers, but honestly, that's more about typical passenger car use; if you're putting them on heavy-duty trucks or frequent track application, the wear rate will be higher, and you should confirm with us before ordering large quantities.

Lead time on a 1000-piece MOQ is usually 25 days or so, but we've shipped as fast as 18 days when the line was quiet, and we always send a COA with each shipment—one thing buyers don't always ask is that our company can also provide third-party testing from SGS if you need it for compliance.
Anyway, they're not suited for organic or low-metallic formulations if that's what your system needs, since the 65Mn steel is optimized for semi-metallic or ceramic compound bonding, and the Dacromet coating can interfere with some adhesive systems—so check your pad bonding process first.
Both Dacromet and Geomet coatings are available options for the CTD series. Just let us know your preference when placing the order, and we'll adjust the surface treatment accordingly.
We usually stick to 1000 pieces for the CTD series, but we can discuss a smaller trial batch if you're a new partner. It really depends on your volume commitment going forward.
We include a copy of our valid ISO/TS16949 and IATF-16949 certificates with every shipment. A full quality report from our QC procedures is also available upon request.
Lead time for the CTD series is usually 20-25 working days after order confirmation. If you need it faster, we can expedite for a small surcharge.
The CTD series ships as standard disc brake pads without wear indicators or shims. We can add those as a customization if you need them—just specify during ordering.
