Most buyers we deal with are doing trim work or cabinet fitting where portability actually matters more than raw power, and they usually ask about battery compatiblity before anything else. We run every unit through a 15-minute no-load test at full speed to catch any bearing noise or vibration early, and the brushless motor itself is checked for consistent torque output across three different voltge levels. If a motor draws outside our tolerance band during testing, it gets pulled and retested before we ever ship it.
The no-load speed is rated at 4500 rpm with a 165mm blade stroke, which gives you about 57mm depth at 90° and 38mm at 45° — fine for most plywood and hardwood up to 2 inches thick or so. Aluminun die-cast base is standard, not stamped steel, so it stays flat and doesn't flex under side load when you're doing bevel cuts. LED worklight is built into the housing, not an add-on, so it doesn't rattle loose after a few jobs.
Every batch gets a COA from our in-house QC lab, and we keep samples from each production run for at least 6 months in case something comes up. If you find a defect within the first year, we'll replace it — but honestly, most issues we see are from using worn-out blades or mismatched battery platforms, not the tool itself. We don't offer a retest policy on individual units, but our company can provide batch-level HPLC or torque data on request (usually within 2-3 business days).
What you get when ordering is the bare tool only, no battery or charger included, so make sure your platform matches teh 18V/20V lithium-ion system. Packging is a standard cardboard box with foam inserts, and we include a basic hex key for blade changes — nothing fancy. Lead time is typically 15-20 working days for stock orders, but we can rush smaller quantities if you need them faster.
