We've been making these wooden elephant puzzles for a few years now, and the Z14183D model comes in solid wood with eco-friendly paint that's been pretty popular with preschool teachers — the 16×16×1.5 cm size is easy for small hands to grip, and the colorful details help with shape recognition.
It's actually designed for kids aged 3 to 8 years, but we've seen daycare centers use it for younger toddlers under supervision, though it's not really suited for kids who still mouth everything because the pieces are about 1.5 cm thick and could be a choking hazard if they manage to bite through the paint.
Most buyers go with the standerd natural wood and colorful details, but our company can do custom colors or even add a logo if you need OEM work — sample time for that is 7-10 days, and the MOQ is 1000 sets, which usually takes 35-45 days to produce.
puzzle comes in a white box, and we pack 120 sets per carton, so a full container would be about 13.5 kg gross weight for the carton dimensoins of 47×33×33 cm — we usually have stock, but confirm lead time for bulk orders, as the 1000-set MOQ is roughly a month and a half or so.
It's got all the you'd expect, CE and EN71 and ASTM F963-96a, which basically means it's passed the same tests as toys sold in major retail chains, and the smooth edges are something you'll notice right away — no sharp corners or rough spots that could snag little fingers.
Anyway, the educational value is pretty straightforward: it develops problem-solving and fine motor skills through the elephant shape, and teh pieces fit together with a tolerance that's tighter than most wooden puzzles we've seen, but we don't have exact data on how many times it can be assembled before wear shows.
The MOQ is 1000 sets per order. We can discuss a trial order for new clients, but standard production starts at that quantity.
