Looked into kids' flasks for upcoming school season and the main thing we keep getting burned on is insulation claims that fall apart by lunchtime — so batch consistency and real-world thermal performance were non-negotiable on this one.
It's a 500ml 316 stainles steel vacuum flask, model YTSA-33, with a straw lid and a cup-type mouth, roughly 22cm tall and 9cm wide, so it fits standard backpack side pockets and small hands can handle it pretty well (we usually have stock on the multicolor options, but confirm lead time for custom colors).
The certifications are LFGB, FDA, CE/EU, and EEC, which covers most of our export markets, and what matters for us is that the supplier runs HPLC and thermal cycling tests on each production batch; they also offer a retest policy if we flag an issue within 20 days or so — better than reagent grade for this because the kids' market is brutal on durability claims.
Customiztion is logo, color, and packaing, but the MOQ for custom colors is higher than the standard multicolor run — most buyers go with the stock color options unless they're doing a branded school program, and teh 3-layer white box plus 5-layer master carton (50 pieces per carton, about 49.5cm cubed) has held up fine in our past shipments to the EU.
One thing it's not suited for is hot soup or carbonated drinks — the straw mechanism and vacuum seal aren't designed for that, so we're only marketing it for water and cold beverages, basically, and the injection-molded straw has a tighter tolerance than most kids' flasks we've tested, which cuts down on leaking complaints.
The transport package dimensions are 49.5×49.5×45.5cm for 50 pieces, so our company can fit about 200 units per standard pallet, and lead time form order is usually 30-35 working days for a custom run — 25 days or so for stock colors.
316 stainless steel includes molybdenum, which makes it more resistant to corrosion and acidic drinks like juice or milk than the standard 304. It's a safer, more durable choice for kids who might leave their flask half-full overnight.
