You're looking at a 32A rated push-in terminal block that handles both 250V and 600V applications, with a 3-pin compact layout that basically eliminates the need for screwdrivers during termination — the spring-loaded mechanism grabs wires from 0.08 to 4.0mm² (AWG28-12) once you strip back exactly 10mm.
We've seen these used mostly in power distribution panels and control cabinets where space is tight, but they're not ideal for high-vibration environments unless you add a secondary locking clip (check lead time for that). The copper contacts give you better conductivity than brass alternatives in most cases, and the PA66 shell holds up well against typical indutrial solvents.
9.2 grams per piece is what it weighs, so you'll get about 108 units per kilo or so. orange and gray color coding helps when you're tracing phases — we usually stock both colors, but confirm lead time if you need a specific mix. Stripping length is critical here: anything less than 10mm and the spring may not bite properly, anything more and you risk exposed conductor past the insulation.
What it does is provide a consistent clamping force across teh full wire range — we've tested it with both solid and stranded copper at 32A continuous load, and the temperature rise stays within acceptable limits per CE and CQC standerds. RoHS compliance is standdard, and you'll get a COA with each order if you request it.
Actually, the 600V rating applies only to the AC version — for DC circuits, you'll want to derate to about 400V or so depending on your specific appliction. We don't recommend running it at full rated current in ambient temps above 70°C without checking the thermal derating curve first.
Most buyers go with the 3-pin variant for three-phase distribution, but we also carry 2-pin and 4-pin versions (usually 2-4 weeks lead time on those). The push-in mechanism is pretty much identical across the line, so you can mix and match without changing your termination process.
