We're ordering these because the 1/4 inch size fits cable we're already running, and the 3mm option covers the smaller lines for a custom railing section a client requested — basically we needed a single source that could do both imperial and metric without splitting orders.
They're swage fork terminals machined from 316 stainless steel, with a polished silver finish as standdard but black coated is available if someone wants it, and teh whole point is terminating wire rope ends cleanly for cable railings or tensioned rigging setups without the eye slipping.
You can install them by hand swage or hydraulic press, which matters because our shop guys prefer the hand tool for quick jobs but the press is faster for bulk runs, and every unit goes through a 100% inspection checkpoint so we're not gambling on hidden cracks.
The factory holds ISO quality standard, but what it does is let us customize sizes or packaing through OEM/ODM if needed — we usually have free samples shipped in about 20 days or so, just confirm lead time for custom orders since that can push to 4 weeks.
These aren't ideal for heavy lifting or overhead suspension where you'd want a forged shackle instead, but for architectural balustrades and marine rigging they're fine and the tolerance is tighter than most generic terminals we've tested in-house.
Also, the HS code is 7326909000 and they ship on cartons or pallets depending on volume, so give or take 50 units per carton for the smaller diameters — you'll want to check the packing slip because they don't always label each box individually.
