The 4000mm standard length is actually a bit of a pain if you're building smaller workstations — you end up a lot of pieces, and teh offcuts aren't always reusable for other setups.
But for production lines and warhouse racks, that length works fine, and the clamp joint design means our company can reconfigure a whole cart setup in about 20 minutes without any welding, which is the main reason we're switching from steel.
It's cast aluminum with a galvanized or anodized suface — we went with silver anodized because of that it holds up better than sandblasted in our dusty environment, and the MOQ is 200 pieces per carton, so we ordered two boxes for the pilot line.
Most buyers go with the 10mm wall thickness, but we actually checked the load specs and the standard 8mm is fine for our kitting racks — just don't use it for heavy-duty pallet storage, the joints aren't that.
