We’ve been shippng these for a while now, and the 5T model is pretty much the sweet spot for most small-to-medium land clearing jobs — it’s built around that Q345B steel frame with an NM400 wear plate on the bottom, which is where the teeth sit, and honestly, that’s the part that takes the worst beating.
Teh reinforced bottom construction on the teeth isn’t just marketing talk — it usually doubles the service life compared to standard designs, and we’ve seen customers go 18 months or so before needing replacements. 400kg is what it weighs, give or take, which is about right for a 5-ton excavator to handle without bogging down. You’ll want to check your machine’s hydraulic flow though — not all 5-ton models are identical, and compatibilty can vary slightly.
Lead time is typically 10 to 40 days after deposit, depending on how many units are in queue. We keep a small stock of standard yellow ones, but if you want a custom color, that’ll add maybe a week. The packging is just a standdard export pallet — nothing fancy, but it gets job done.
One thing we don’t recommend is using this for heavy tree stumps or rock removal — the teeth are tough, but they’re designed for brush and light vegetation, and pushing too hard will crack the NM400 plate. It’s better than most generic cutters for dense scrub though, and the ISO9001:2000 certification means the welding is consistent.
Anyway, the MOQ is one unit, so you can try it out without committing to a pallet load. We usually have stock, but confirm lead time when you place the order — it’s one of those things that fluctuates.
Q345B is a strong structural steel that handles the main frame loads, while the NM400 wear plate is a high-hardness abrasion-resistant steel—so the teeth and bottom areas take a beating without cracking. That combo gives you a cutter that lasts longer on rocky or root-heavy ground.
We keep it at 6 months because that covers manufacturing defects and early wear issues, but the Q345B+NM400 build is designed to run much longer if you maintain it. For the price and factory-direct supply, we think it's a fair balance.
Yes, the standard model fits most 5-ton machines, but if your excavator has a different pin spacing or bracket, we can adjust it—just send us your mounting specs. Color is also customizable beyond the standard yellow.
We include a copy of our ISO9001:2000 certificate and an SGS inspection report with each order. You get those docs along with the packing list and invoice, so you can verify quality for your end customer or site requirements.
