We’re ordering the custom cardboard packaging boxes model CL2019082202, mainly because they let us specify size, shape, and design to fit product dimensions precisely—something stock boxes just can’t do. Material is cardboard or paper, with a range of flute options like B or E flute depending on how much crush resistance you need, and surface finishes include glossy lamination or UV coating.
Basically, these are for cosmetics, food, electronics, or gift packaging, but what sold me is CMYK/PMS or Pantone color printing, so our company can match brand colors exactly for retail branding. They also accept artwork in AI, PDF, EPS, or JPG format.
Quote says the boxes are waterpoof, which isn’t always a given with paper-based packaging, and they carry ISO9001:2008 and ISO14001:2004 certifications as well as SGS—so the compliance documentation for US and EU import should be straightforward (customs often asks for those). That’s a big win for shipping to our UK warehose.
Most buyers in our niche go with E flute for thinner cosmetic boxes, but A or C flute works better for heavier gifts—it’s a detail you don’t think about until you’ve handled a few pallets and realized the corrugation affects stacking strength. Lead time is 7-10 working days, which is tight for a custom run, though MOQ is 1000 pieces; we usually order 2000 or so to keep per-unit costs down.
Production capasity is 1,000,000 pieces per week, so scaling up won’t be an issue if this sells well—we’ve been burned before by suppliers who can’t handle repeat orders at volume. One thing: this isn’t suited for heavy industiral parts or extreme moisture environments, but for our gift and cosmetics line it’s actually perfect.
Our MOQ is 1,000 pieces per design. If you need less, we can't do it at this price point, but for anything above that, we're good to go.
