It’s not a magic wand for every hair type—frankly, blonde and red hair still give it trouble despite the tri-wavelength setup, and you’ll need 4-6 week intervals between sessions for real results, but for the bulk of what clinics see (black and brown hair on Fitzpatrick I-VI skin), it’s pretty much the standerd.

We’ve got the 1200W, 1600W, and 1800W handle options here, and most buyers go with the 1600W for the sweet spot between power and handle longevity—the 3500W machine power drives all three, not individually per handle, so don’t expect to run them simultaneously.

The cooling system hits -32°C at the tip (adjustable up to 5°C), which is TEC plus air and water, and it’s actually what makes this tolerable for darker skin types on the 1064nm wavelength—without it, you’d see a lot more complaints about pain and burns (usually 2-4 weeks of training needed to dial in settings).

Spot sizes are 13×20mm, 13×30mm, and 13×40mm—the 40mm is faster for backs and legs, but the 20mm gives you better control around bony areas like ankles (one detail: the handpiece gets warm after about 20 minutes of continuous use, even with that cooling, so rotate between two if you’re doing full-body sessions).

I ordered the 1800W version because our client base includes more Fitzpatrick IV-VI patients, and that extra headroom helps with teh 1064nm without pushing the duty cycle too hard—100 million shots is the rated lifetime, but that’s under ideal lab conditions, so figure 8 years or so in real-world use (check lead time on the 1800W, it’s usually 3 weeks versus 2 for the others).

Anyway, the 10.1-inch touchscreen runs multi-language menus and the USA Coherent bars are a solid choice—better than the Chinese-sourced alternatives for stability, though the whole unit weighs 38kg and measures 130×52×68cm, so make sure your treatment room door is wide enough.
