The W20 series motors are designed for industrial applications, offering robust performance and durability. The frame is constructed from high-quality die-cast aluminum for sizes 80 to 200, ensuring a lightweight yet sturdy enclosure. For enhanced handling, frame sizes above 112 include eyebolts. Additionally, cast iron frames made from FC-200 are available for sizes W225S to 280M, featuring one-piece feet for added stability.
End shields for the W20 motors are manufactured from cast iron, providing robustness suitable for long-term operation across various ambient conditions and temperatures. The fan cover is crafted from steel plate, contributing to the motor's overall durability and protection.
The terminal box, also made of steel, offers ample space for wiring and can be rotated 90 degrees for flexible installation. It includes Chinese standard threaded holes with plastic covers. Users have the option to select or replace wiring glands to achieve an IP55 protection level, ensuring suitability for diverse environments.
Terminal blocks comply with IEC 60034-8 and GB1971-2006 standards, and are paired with appointed BMC terminal blocks for reliable electrical connections. Bearings are ball type, with regreasing nipples provided for frame sizes 225 and above. Collaboration with internationally recognized bearing suppliers guarantees high performance and extended bearing life. Specific bearing brands can be accommodated upon request during the ordering process.
Nameplates are made from AISI 304 stainless steel, with all motor information laser-printed for durability. Details include serial number, output, voltage, current, frequency, protection degree, power factor, insulation class, bearing type, grease, and regreasing interval. Frame sizes up to 200 feature vertical nameplates, while sizes 225 to 355 have horizontal nameplates.
An optional axial flow blower is available for frequency conversion applications, providing forced cooling for frames 90 to 355. The terminal box position for the axial flow fan is typically at the top, but custom positions can be arranged upon request. Packaging varies by frame size: frames 80 to 132 use standard carton boxes, while frames 160 to 355 may use carton or wooden boxes, depending on mounting and size requirements.
