The heat load is the real issue with these 2940nm systems, and we’ve actually put most of our engineering into the air cooling — it runs quieter than you’d expect for a 15kg box, and it keeps the crystal stable through a full day of fractional passes.
Most clinics are using it for scar revision and photo damage correction, though we see a fair number of buyers pushing it hard for melasma with the low-fluence fractional mode. 2-13mJ per MTZ on the 10x10mm head gives you a lot of control, but the beam expander mode at 150-800mJ is better suited for deeper ablation when you need it.

One thing we don’t recommend this for is heavy-duty tattoo removal — the 300μs pulse width is too short for that applicaion, and you’ll get better results with a Q-switched setup. Also, the air cooling system means you can’t run it in a sealed cabinet without proper ventilation; it’s fine for open clinic bays.
