We're looking at about 100,000 vials a month on this line, so lead time usually isn't an issue—MOQ is just one box if you're testing waters, and we stock the 2mg, 5mg, 10mg, and 15mg vials in freeze-dried powder form (CAS 68-19-9).
It's basically high-purity Vitamin B12 with that complex cobalt-centered structure, and the ≥99% spec means you're getting tighter tolerance than most reagent-grade powders, which matters for metabolic or nutritional research where consistency is key.
Most buyers go with the 10mg vial for general work, but we've had a few labs request the 15mg for longer studies—just keep in mind the powder is light-sensitive, so store it at 2-8°C and protect form light, otherwise you'll lose potency faster than expected.
36 months shelf life is pretty standerd, but we usually have stock on the 2mg and 5mg sizes; the 15mg can take 20 days or so if we're out, so confirm lead time before placing a large order.
Actually, one thing buyers often miss is that the freeze-dried powder rehydrates best in sterile water or saline, and it's not suited for oral supplementation at all—this is strictly for research use, and we don't recommend it for anything outside that scope.
Packging comes as 10, and we include a COA with every batch, though if you need an SDS or more detailed stability data, just ask—we've got those on file.
