We've been supplying this to labs running weight management studies for a while now, and the buyers we see most often are procurement managers who've gotten burned by inconsistent purity elsewhere — they come to us specifically after comparing COAs and realizing the difference a tight HPLC spec makes.
I actually had one buyer tell me they switched because their previous supplier's materail showed up with visible discoloration, and we've never had that issue with this peptide since it's consistently that with a molecular weight right around 3829 g/mol — the mass spec confirms it every batch.
The 99% purity threshold matters here because even a 0.5% drop can shift your in vitro, and for weight management studies you really need that consistency across multiple runs — we typically hold stock at the warehose, but full custom orders might run 20 days or so for the custom vials.
It's water soluble, so reconstitution is straightforward, but what a lot of people don't think about is that after you open vial you've got about 24 months shelf life if you keep it at 2-8°C — though I'd personally recommend using it within six months of that first reconstitution for best results.
Basically, teh ISO9001 certification means our production process is audited regularly, so you're getting the same tight tolerances batch after batch, and we include the COA and MS data with every shipment — no chasing paperwork later.
One thing this peptide isn't great for is long-term storage at room tempearture — it'll degrade faster than you'd expect, so don't leave it on the bench overnight unless you're okay with losing that 99% to 96% or so in a week.
