So you've seen the CBK308 in action at a few sites in Europe and now you're figuring out if it's the right fit for your setup — basically, we've been shippng these for about four years now, and once people get past the initial sticker shock, they pretty much all say the same thing about the rotation time being a game-changer. It does a full 360 in 60 seconds, and the 12MPa pressure means you're not leaving any stubborn grime around the wheel wells or lower panels, which is where most touchless systems struggle. Most buyers go with either the single-pass or double-pass wash cycle, but the 3-5 minute cycle is what we recommend for high-traffic lanes — anything faster and you're sacrificing dwell time on the foam step.

The frame is hot-dip galvanized, which is actually what most of the fuss is about at trade shows — people keep asking if it'll rust in coastal environments, and it won't, because that coating is thicker than what you get with standard powder-coat or electro-galvanized frames. You're looking at 2300kg of steel, dimensions of 8000mm by 3800mm by 3300mm, so you'll want a bay with at least 9 meters clearance on the sides for the brushes. Teh water pump is a 15kW 380V unit, and total power sits at 37kW, which is better than reagent grade for throughput — that combo lets you run the 4 x 5.5kW drying fans without dropping pressure during the rinse stage.

3 years warranty is standerd, and what a lot of people don't think to ask about until after the install is how the after-sales service works — it's all done through video techncial support, which isn't ideal if you're used to having a tech show up onsite, but we've found that 90% of the issues we see can be sorted with a WhatsApp call and pointing a phone at the control panel. The RoHS and CE certifications are pretty much expected now, but you'll also see GS, UR, ETL, and CB — we usually don't ship GS-certified units outside of Germany, but they're identical hardware with a sticker change (we keep a small batch ready).

One thing that gets buyers is the maximum vehicle size — 5600mm long, 2600mm wide, 2000mm tall — so you can't run full-size dually pickups or lifted vans through it unless you've confirmed the roof height, because that ultrasonic positioning system only gives you a few centimeters of buffer. Also, if you're planning to use this for fleet washing or rental lots, you'll want to run it with the 10mg dose of foam concentrate rather than the lower concentration — the separation of water and foam systems works fine either way, but you'll get noticeably better coverage at the higher ratio and the 15kW pump doesn't struggle with thicker formula. The drying side is where most operators notice the power draw though — 22kW on those fans alone, so if your site has fussy electricla panels you'll want to verify 380V three-phase before confirming the order. Honestly, it's fine for SUV hatches and sedans, but for something with a flat rear face like a minivan, you won't get bone-dry results without adding a second drying pass.
