We've been shipping these 350mm blades for a while now, and the 84-tooth configuration with that trapezoidal/flat grind really does give a clean edge on PMMA and PC sheet — it's basically a finish cut right off the saw. The kerf runs 4.4mm, plate thickness is 3.2mm, so it's stable enough at 4,500 RPM without being overly heavy, and the nickel plating helps with chip release on sticky materials like Alucobond.
Most buyers go with this one for acrylic or polycarbonate where edge quality matters more than speed — you'll get a polished-looking suface, not a fuzzy one. It's not great for thick aluminun extrusions though, that's a different blade altogether; tooth count is too high for aggressive feed rates on solid metal. Anyway, the carbide tips are brazed onto the steel body, and we usually have stock in 350mm, but confirm lead time if you need over 50 units or so.
What it does is hold tolerance well through multiple regrinds — we've seen shops get 6 to 8 sharpenings before the plate wears, which is pretty much standard for this grade. The max RPM is 4,500, so don't push it past that on a sizing saw, and the trapezoidal tooth geometry (T/C grind) clears chips better than a straight ATB for these composites. ISO9001 covers the production line, and we include a COA with each blade — the hardness and runout specs are on there if you need them.
Packaing is simple: each blade comes in a cardboard sleeve with a plastic edge guard, no fancy box. (Check the bore size — it's typically 30mm, but our company can supply bushings for other arbors if you mention it at order time.)
The 4.4mm kerf is a bit wider than some competition blades, but that's because the plate is 3.2mm thick, so you get less deflection on deeper cuts — a trade-off that matters for where consistency is key. You'll want to verify the max RPM on your machine before running it, especially on older equipment.
We typically require a minimum order of 50 pieces for this model. If you're just testing, we can do a sample order of 5–10 pieces first.
We keep this 350mm blade in stock, so standard orders ship within 7–10 business days. Custom orders with different specs might take 20–25 days.
Yes, we include a copy of our ISO9001 certificate with every shipment. For the nickel coating, we can also send a salt spray test report or hardness data on request.
That 1.2mm difference is standard for this blade and actually helps with chip clearance and reduces friction. For thin aluminum sheets under 2mm, it cuts cleanly without vibration as long as your saw's arbor is stable.
Each blade comes in a sealed plastic sleeve with anti-rust paper. Store them horizontally in a dry area below 30°C. Avoid touching the tips with bare hands because skin oils can cause corrosion over time.
