We've been getting a lot of inquiries from buyers running continuous surveillance or emergency comms relays—basically anyone who's tired of swapping batteries every 20 minutes on a job site. It's a 12kW unit, 380V input, and the output sits at 50V constant, which is pretty standard for most indutrial drones we see. The IP54 rating means it can handle a bit of rain and dust, though we wouldn't push it into a monsoon.
Cable length is selectable at 110m, 220m, or 330m, and you can add fiber optic for low-latency data if your application needs it—most buyers go with the 220m for a good balance. Input uses an LP20 aviation connector, output has six XT90 ports in parallel, so you've got some flexibility there. Total weight is 80kg, footprint is 850*740*600, small enough to fit in a standard carton box for shippng.
What you get when ordering is station itself, the tether cable of your chosen length, and we include a COA with each unit—HPLC data, though we usually have stock so lead time is about 20 days or so. The MOQ is low, we can do single units for evaluation, but the bulk price drops noticeably at 10 units or more. Payment terms are typically T/T, and we ship via sea freight unless you specify air.
One thing to keep in mind—this isn't really suited for indoor use or tight spaces where you can't run the 380V line easily. It's better than a lot of the 6kW stations we've seen for sustained high-altitude work, but the 80kg means you'll want a two-person lift or a small dolly for setup. The fiber optic option (check lead time) is worth it if you're doing real-time video relay, otherwise the standdard tether works fine for most control signals.
Anyway, we've shipped these to a few buyers running site surveillance for construction projects—they've reported no issues with the IP54 in dusty conditions, though one guy mentioned the connector pins can be a bit tight on first plug-in. We don't have perfect data on every drone model's compatibility, but if yours runs on 50V and draws under 12kW, it should work without modification.
You can choose between 110m, 220m, or 330m cable lengths depending on your operational needs.
Fiber optic is optional — you can add it if your application requires high-bandwidth data transmission, but it's not standard.
It's CE certified, and we can provide the full compliance documentation upon request.
The 80kg total weight includes the base station and the tether cable, so you're good to go right out of the box.
MOQ is just 1 unit for sample orders, and for bulk we can negotiate. Typical lead time is around 15-20 working days after order confirmation.
