You're putting together a waiting area in a regional airport terminal, and the seating needs to survive the kind of traffic where checked luggage gets used as a battering ram — that’s basically what this chair is built for.
It’s 1750mm long, 500mm wide, and 780mm tall give or take, with a seat molded from polyamide cofton through high-temperature die-cast, and underneath that is a welded cold-rolled steel plate frame (the support structure, not the seat itself). We coat it with a flashing silver metallic paint, which is more about corrosion resistance than looks, though it does catch the light. The beam, what actually ties the whole row together, is a 40x70x2.0mm hexagonal cold-drawn tube, spray-coated so it doesn’t rust out under a leaky ceiling. Armrests and legs come in either alumnum alloy or cold-rolled steel, your choice — we usually ship whichever is in stock, but confirm lead time (2-4 weeks for custom). It's not ideal for outdoor use, by the way; the paint won’t hold up to direct UV exposure for long stretches.
Anyway, aside from teh terminal, these chairs actually get used in medical waiting rooms and conference areas, places where you don't want to replace seating every couple years. What it does is hold up to continuous sitting without sagging, though the polyamide cofton can get a little slick if someone’s got a smooth coat on, so you’ll want to keep that in mind if you have older patients in the queue. There’s an MOQ for OEM customiztion, usually around 50 units or so, but the standard model ships within 10-15 working days from warhouse.
ISO and CE certified, 2-year warranty, shipped largely assembled — just bolt the legs and armrests on, and you’re done. It’s a research use product, technically, but honestly, it’s just a solid waiting room chair.
