A field worker is walking a row of crops with a backpack sprayer, and nozzle has to hit every leaf surfce without wasting a drop—that's where this internal threaded full cone piece earns its keep, running medicine, disinfectant, or pesticide through a pressrue-driven system that we've injection-molded from stainlss steel to handle the corrosive stuff without flaking or clogging.
We test every batch against a retained reference sample using HPLC, and if the spray pattern doesn't match the spec within about 3% tolerance, it gets pulled; you'll get a COA with each shipment, usually within 2-3 business days of dispatch, and we keep a retest sample on file for 90 days in case someone wants to verify.
Actually, the internal thread is 1/4 inch NPT standard—pretty much what you'd expect for most handheld or boom setups—but we've seen buyers try to force it into metric fittings, and that's where it binds up, so check your adapter before you torque it down.
2.4 million units or so went out last year across all volume options, and the 0.5 liter per minute configuration is the one most buyers go with for general disinfection work, though the 1.2 LPM is better for thicker pesticide suspensions (we usually have stock on both, but confirm lead time for anything over 500 pieces).
What it does is deliver a full cone spray that's more uniform than what you'd get from a plastic nozzle—teh stainless steel holds its shape better through temperature swings and pressure drops, so you're not recalibrating mid-run, and the injection molding gives us tighter tolerance than machined parts on the internal flow path.
We don't recommend this for high-pressure systems above 80 PSI (the mold lines can start to fatigue there), and if you're running aggressive solvents like xylene, the stainless will hold up but the thread seal might not—use PTFE tape and expect to replace the seal annually.
