Russia Takes Actions in Response to UK Arms Delivery and Ukraine - Related Issues

On April 23 local time, the Russian Foreign Ministry issued a statement saying that in response to the UK's actions such as supplying weapons to Kiev, Ukraine, 21 British MPs have been included in the list of those banned from entering Russia. The statement also said that the list will continue to expand.

On the same day, Valentina Matviyenko, the Chairwoman of the Federation Council of Russia, stated that Russia will never participate in negotiations discussing the idea of deploying European troops in Ukraine. For Russia, the deployment of European troops in Ukraine is unacceptable, and any proposal on this issue has no chance of success.

Previously, Dmitry Peskov, the Press Secretary of the Russian President, said that due to the lack of consensus on some issues among the parties, the talks on the Ukraine issue to be held in London among multiple countries were aborted.
