They discussed topics such as tariffs, shipbuilding, South Korea's purchase of US liquefied natural gas, and the payment for the significant military protection provided by the US to South Korea.

Regarding the military protection fees, Trump stated that South Korea began paying these fees during his first term, amounting to billions of dollars. However, for unknown reasons, Biden terminated this deal, which shocked everyone.

Trump claimed that both sides have the conditions and possibilities to reach a "great agreement" for the two countries. South Korea's senior team is on a flight to the US.
