Israeli Military Operation in Syria and Syrian Condemnation

Early on the morning of April 3 local time, the Israeli Defense Forces issued a statement saying that overnight, the Israeli military carried out a military operation in the Tasil area in southern Syria, seizing some weapons and destroying local infrastructure. The statement said that these infrastructure belonged to Syrian "terrorists".

The statement claimed that during the operation, several armed men opened fire on the Israeli troops, and the Israeli forces immediately returned fire, killing multiple armed men through ground and air strikes. The operation did not cause any casualties among the Israeli side.

The statement indicated that the presence of weapons and equipment in southern Syria poses a threat to Israel. The Israeli military will not tolerate military threats within Syrian territory and will take action to strike them.

On April 3 local time, Syria issued a statement strongly condemning Israel's latest round of aggression against Syria. The statement said that the Israeli army launched air strikes on five different regions across Syria within 30 minutes, almost completely destroying the Hama military airport and injuring dozens of civilians and military personnel.
