Dias Issues Ultimatum to Liverpool: Raise Salary or Leave

On March 26th, it was reported that Diaz has issued an ultimatum to Liverpool, stating that he will leave the club if his salary is not increased.

It is said that Diaz's agent has informed Liverpool that if a contract extension with a salary raise cannot be reached with Diaz before this summer, the player will firmly demand to leave the club.

Moreover, the agent also told Liverpool that apart from Barcelona, which is willing to sign Diaz, multiple teams in Serie A and Saudi Arabia have also expressed interest. Diaz is not short of potential new clubs.

On the other hand, Liverpool has taken no action. They believe that dealing with the contracts of Salah and Van Dijk is the top priority, and there is no rush to renew Diaz's contract.

Currently, Diaz's contract with Liverpool expires in 2027, and his weekly salary is only £55,000, ranking among the lowest in the team.
