Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 to Be Released Soon

It is reported that Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 will be officially released in early April, and relevant terminals will be unveiled one after another in April. The first batch of models equipped with Snapdragon 8s Gen4 include REDMI Turbo 4 Pro, iQOO Z10 Turbo Pro, Xiaomi Civi 5 Pro, OPPO K13 Pro, etc.

In terms of specifications, Qualcomm Snapdragon 8s Gen4 is built based on TSMC's 4nm process technology. This chip does not adopt Qualcomm's self - developed Oryon CPU architecture, but uses the Arm public - version architecture solution.

Its CPU consists of 1 * 3.21GHz X4 3 * 3.01GHz A720 2 * 2.80GHz A720 2 * 2.02GHz A720. Compared with Snapdragon 8 Gen3, Snapdragon 8s Gen4 cuts off two A520 small cores and integrates the Adreno 825 GPU at the same time.

In terms of cache, the SLC cache of Snapdragon 8s Gen4 is 6MB and the L3 cache is 8MB. In contrast, the SLC cache of Qualcomm Snapdragon 8 Ultra is 8MB.

In terms of AnTuTu scores, the total AnTuTu score of Snapdragon 8s Gen4 exceeds 2 million points. Its comprehensive performance surpasses Snapdragon 8 Gen2 and is quite close to Snapdragon 8 Gen3.
