On the 17th, the President of Ukraine signed a bill that allows the dispatch of Ukrainian troops abroad during the state of war to acquire advanced weaponry and receive professional training.
The Verkhovna Rada (Parliament) of Ukraine announced this bill on its official website on the same day. According to the explanatory document of the Verkhovna Rada, Ukrainian military personnel, military units, and military branches can be sent to other countries, especially partner countries, in accordance with the procedures established by Ukrainian law.
It was reported that the Verkhovna Rada passed the bill on sending Ukrainian troops abroad during the state of war on January 15. The President later proposed amendments to some provisions of the bill. On February 25, the Verkhovna Rada passed the revised bill.
