Polish and Latvian Presidents Discuss Ukraine's Mineral Resource Development

On February 25, the President of Poland held talks with the President of Latvia in Warsaw, the capital of Poland. At the joint press conference after the talks, both sides stated that Ukraine has the right to decide with whom to cooperate in developing its mineral resources.

The Polish President said that Ukraine needs to make its own decisions, and the issue lies in who can provide better security guarantees for Ukraine. The Latvian President said that competition is healthy, and Ukraine will decide on its own what kind of agreements to reach with whom.
