A message released on the Ukrainian presidential website on the 21st stated that President Zelensky had phone calls with leaders of multiple countries on the 20th, focusing on topics such as security guarantees, military assistance, and diplomatic support.

The foreign leaders who had phone calls with Zelensky that day included French President Macron, Canadian Prime Minister Trudeau, Finnish President Stub, South African President Ramaphosa, Norwegian Prime Minister Støre, and Danish Prime Minister Frederiksen.

The Ukrainian presidential website said that when Zelensky discussed security guarantee issues with Macron, he indicated that the future security framework must be strong enough to ensure that Russia will not launch an attack again. The two sides also discussed the situation of contacts with other national leaders and how to coordinate positions and take joint actions in the future.

During the phone call with Trudeau, Zelensky discussed topics such as continuing to provide military assistance to Ukraine, carrying out energy cooperation, continuing sanctions against Russia, and using the frozen Russian assets.

During the phone call with Ramaphosa, Zelensky thanked South Africa for its support for Ukraine's sovereignty and territorial integrity and expressed the hope that South Africa would continue to support Ukraine.

The phone calls between Zelensky and other European national leaders mainly revolved around topics such as security guarantees, ammunition supply, investment in Ukraine's defense industry, and energy cooperation.

Recently, a former U.S. president continuously criticized Zelensky. According to a report, the former U.S. administration was stepping up pressure on Zelensky, demanding that Ukraine hand over the mining rights of minerals worth hundreds of billions of dollars to the United States. Ukraine's refusal to immediately sign this mining agreement led to an escalation of the 'war of words' between the leaders of the two countries.
