Shocking Incident: Elderly Woman's Car Tire Becomes 'Public Toilet' for Neighbor's Dog

In a bizarre incident, an elderly woman in Shanghai was attacked by her neighbor after the neighbor's dog repeatedly used her car tire as its own personal toilet. The dispute has left both parties seeking justice.

The incident began when the 60-year-old woman, Liu, took her dog for a walk in the neighborhood. Despite having it on a leash, the dog managed to slip free and make a beeline for a parked car, where it proceeded to urinate on the tire.

The owner of the car, Yuan, was furious when she saw what had happened. She confronted Liu and tried to kick her dog, instead ending up physically attacking Liu. The reason behind Yuan's anger was that this wasn't the first time something like this had occurred. According to Yuan, Liu would often walk her dog without restraint, allowing it to urinate on her own car tires multiple times.

Liu claimed that she had been repeatedly warned about the issue by Yuan, but she chose to ignore her neighbor's concerns and even threatened to do it again, saying 'I'll make sure to pee on your tire too'.

After the attack, Liu suffered injuries including skin abrasions, a four-level urgent injury, head and waist damage, and severe psychological trauma. She was also subjected to verbal abuse by Yuan and her family members, leaving her too afraid to venture out again.

In a surprising turn of events, the court ruled that both parties were at fault for their actions. The judge determined that Liu's failure to properly restrain her dog contributed to the incident, while Yuan's loss of control and physical attack on Liu was also unacceptable.

The court ultimately held Yuan responsible for 60% of the damages, ordering her to compensate Liu for medical expenses, lawyer fees, and other costs totaling over $2,400. The case serves as a reminder that both parties must take responsibility for their actions in order to resolve disputes peacefully.
