Two sources revealed that Russia has submitted a 'request list' to the United States regarding reaching a peace agreement with Ukraine and restarting relations with Washington.

It is reported that Russian and US officials have discussed the contents of this list through online and in - person meetings over the past three weeks. However, it is unclear what specific requests Russia has listed on the list and whether it is willing to hold peace talks with Ukraine before the US accepts these requests.

Nevertheless, the sources described Russia's requests as extensive and similar to those it previously put forward to Ukraine, the US, and NATO. Russia's previous requests included Ukraine not joining NATO, no foreign troops being sent to Ukraine, and the international community's recognition of Crimea and the four regions in eastern Ukraine as part of Russia.

It is mentioned that neither the Russian embassy in the US nor the White House immediately responded to requests for comment.

The recent talks between the US and Ukraine have attracted wide attention. The US and Ukrainian delegations concluded their talks in Jeddah, Saudi Arabia, on the evening of the 11th. Both sides announced that they had reached a consensus on issues such as implementing a temporary cease - fire, resuming intelligence sharing, and providing security assistance. According to the joint statement issued after the talks, Ukraine said it was willing to accept the US proposal to immediately implement a 30 - day temporary cease - fire. This cease - fire can be extended with the consent of both sides and must be accepted and implemented by Russia simultaneously. The US will immediately resume intelligence sharing with Ukraine and resume security assistance to Ukraine.

Moreover, after the US - Ukraine talks, Russia's reaction has become the focus of attention. Russian Presidential Press Secretary Peskov said on the 12th that Russia is waiting for the US to brief on the details of the previous day's US - Ukraine talks, and the possibility of a phone call between the Russian and US presidents cannot be ruled out. Peskov said that both US Secretary of State Rubio and the President's National Security Advisor Waltz said in media interviews that they would provide detailed information about the essence of the talks to Russia through various channels. He said, 'We must get this information first.'
